PEFC-certified timber
Responsible forestry with documented traceability.
At Fog & Venø, we are committed to using timber from responsibly managed forests. That is why we offer selected products with PEFC certification, which confirms that the raw materials come from responsible sources and can be traced throughout the entire value chain.
What is PEFC?
PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is the world’s largest certification scheme for sustainable forestry.
The certification ensures that forests are managed with respect for nature, biodiversity and the people who live and work in and around the forests.
For businesses, PEFC also means that the journey of the timber from the forest to the finished product can be documented through a certified Chain of Custody.
Responsible forestry
Forests are managed responsibly, with respect for nature, biodiversity and future generations.
Traceability throughout the value chain
The origin of the timber can be documented throughout the value chain – from the forest to the finished product.
Long-term protection of forests
Responsible forest management helps to preserve forests and their resources in the long term.
Social responsibility
Responsible forestry promotes good working conditions and takes local communities into account.
Documented responsibility – every step of the way
