Challenge
The new Health Centre in Vejle, located at Vestre Engvej 51, faced the challenge of creating an environment in their dental clinics that was both aesthetically appealing and functional, with a focus on acoustics and safety.
The noise levels needed to be reduced to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere for both patients and staff, while the materials used had to meet strict safety standards for fire-retardant properties.
Insight
In collaboration with a local architect, Fog & Venø identified the need for an acoustic solution that could meet both requirements.
The choice fell on our fire-retardant FR-Felt Acoustic Panel EN 13823 / B-s1,d0, known for its effectiveness in sound absorption and high safety standards. Thorough evaluations and tests demonstrated that these panels would be ideal for creating the desired environment.
Solution
Fog & Venø supplied and installed the fire-retardant FR-Felt Acoustic Panels in the dental clinics at the Health Centre. The installation was carried out by master carpenter Rune Linderoth from Linderoth Entreprise ApS, who praised the product for its ease of use:
